The Path
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
The Path is a Bible study and journaling application operated by Faircopy, LLC and is offered for use in the United States only.
Information we collect
When you use Sign in with Google, The Path receives basic account information from Google that is needed to identify and authenticate you. This may include your Google account identifier, email address, and basic profile information made available through Google Sign-In.
The Path does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts, or other Google account content.
If you use The Path, you may also choose to create journal entries, record study progress, participate in a Path Group, and share selected content with your group.
How we use your information
We use account information to sign you in, identify your Path account, synchronize your information across devices, and provide the features you choose to use.
Google account information is not used for advertising and is not sold. We use Google user information only as necessary to provide and support The Path’s user-facing functionality.
Journals and sharing
Journal entries are private by default. The Path provides features that allow you to intentionally share selected information with a Path Group. Choosing to share one item does not make the remainder of your journal public.
The Path is not end-to-end encrypted. Information is protected through application, account, and database access controls, but authorized service administrators may have technical access when necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, or maintain the service.
Storage and service providers
The Path uses third-party service providers to host the application, authenticate users, store application data, and deliver supporting services. These providers process information on our behalf as necessary to operate The Path.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not provide personal information to third parties for targeted advertising.
Retention and deletion
We retain account and application information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide The Path and maintain your account, unless you request deletion or a longer retention period is required for legitimate operational or legal reasons.
For privacy questions or account-deletion requests, contact privacy@the-path-app.com.
Removing The Path’s access to your Google account does not by itself delete your Path account or information already stored in The Path. If you want that information deleted, please submit a deletion request using the contact address above.
Deleted information may remain temporarily in routine backups or system logs until those records expire through their normal retention cycle.
Children
The Path is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as The Path changes. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.
