Week 7: Prayer - Persevering & Lamenting

One of the most challenging parts of prayer is persevering and dealing with unanswered prayer. What do we do when prayers aren’t being answered and a story isn’t going our way? This week we consider how to respond when life and prayer feels like you have entered a “desert.” A desert is the gap between our hope/expectations and reality, much like the wandering before the Promised Land for the Israelites. Prayer can feel like this metaphor: hope vs reality.
